Welcome to the blog for The Assembly for Expanded Perspectives on Learning (AEPL)!
AEPL is an official assembly of the National Council of Teachers of English and is open to all those interested in exploring the boundaries of teaching and learning beyond traditional disciplines and methodologies.
This space is devoted to collaborative discussions among our members, board and followers about topics under our wide range of interests.
Areas of AEPL interest include, but are by no means limited to: aesthetic, emotional, and moral intelligence; archetypes; body wisdom; care in education; creativity; felt sense theory; healing; holistic learning; humanistic and transpersonal psychology; imaging; intuition; kinesthetic knowledge; meditation; narration as knowledge; reflective teaching; silence; spirituality; and visualization.
We are always seeking guest posters, so please email AEPL board member and blog coordinator Christy Wenger at cwenger@shepherd.edu if you are interested in contributing.
Check out the official AEPL site for more information about the organization or to join.
